Maldini to Play Another Year
AC Milan captain Paolo Maldini has gone against his earlier decision to retire, and has instead decided to come back for another year.
Maldini, who will turn 40 this month, said that he evaluated his health this off season and believes he can still play.
He said, "Playing football is something that I like doing and I think I can still do it well. Everyone was worried,I think that this is the outcome they were hoping for."
As an Milan fan, I'm very happy to hear this news. Maldini won't start every game, but his presence on the team is invaluable.

My favorite player is Kaka.
I have many relatives that live in Italy and their passion for the game, and primarily Serie A really got me into soccer.
If you do decide to make a blog post it here and I will be happy to go on it and read.
Not only Maldini is a symbol of Italian football and Milan, but he is also "the spirit" of Milan.
I am so happy Maldini is staying for another year. Time to rebuild MILAN and I want him to retire in glory by bringing back Milan to their highest splendor.
Thumbs up Maldini! :)
