Real Madrid Fire Coach Bernd Schuster

The revolving door of coaches at Real Madrid continues now that Madrid have announced the firing of coach Bernd Schuster.

This news comes days after Madrid's 4-3 defeat to Sevilla. After the game Schuster seemed to give up on the team saying that it would be impossible for Madrid to defeat Barcelona this Saturday.

Madrid are currently in 5th place in La Liga and trail leaders Barcelona by 9 points.

Madrid have named former Tottenham coach Juande Ramos as the new coach.

At the press conference Ramos said, "I would like to thank the board for their confidence, I face this job with excitement. It's everybody's dream. I hope I don't let anyone down and that I achieve the successes that this club has set for this season."

Ramos is Real Madrid's 11th coach in the past 10 seasons.

I still don't get why they didn't like Fabio Capello. Firing him was really bad move.

I totally agree....

Even with Schuster, the transfer window is almost here and Madrid are sure to get a few great players.....

I think they should have at least given him until the transfer window before they fired him.
