Ibrahimovic Is Gone for 100 Million

Don't worry Inter fans it hasn't happened, yet.

However, Inter club director Marco Tronchetti Provera said that a 100 million euro offer for Zlatan Ibrahimovic would most certainly be accepted.

Serie A fans know that such an offer was recently rejected by AC Milan when Manchester City tried to lure Kaka away.

Provera seems to think that Inter Milan could win and be competitive without Ibrahimovic, especially if they went out an bought other players with the 100 million.

Personally I feel that this kind of talk during a season can only be a distraction. If your an Inter fan, coach, teammate etc.. you don't want your star striker that's under contract until 2013 to be worried about whether or not he will be sold.

Even though I'm an AC Milan fan, I don't want to see Zlatan leave Serie A

I think that if such offer is on the table Inter should go for it. 100 million euros is way too much even for Ibrahimovic so Inter would sell him at a significant premium. And that would allow them them to bring at least a couple of world class strikers. Names of Villa (priced at 60 mil), Tevez (30) and Drogba (~40) come to mind immediately.

Andrei I would agree that if Villa, Tevez or Drogba could be brought in, or possibly 2 of them Inter would be fine...

With that being said, Ibrahimovic is easily the best player on the team, and without him Inter suffers...

I mentioned Villa, Tevez and Drogba because they are kind of available. Valencia had indicated that Villa is available at 60 million, Tevez is unsettled in Manchester and his contract ends soon and Drogba wants to reunite with Jose Mourinho. I'm not sure about Villa but if Inter buys Tevez and Drogba they will make the team stronger even with letting Ibrahimovich go. Tevez and Drogba combined price tag is well within 100 million that Zlatan deal would bring.

regardless if the move could work out, i think that this kind of talk during a season can only hurt your team...

Whether or not it will happen, Zlatan does not need to hear this
