Chelsea Gives Milan the OK and the No Go

Chelsea is officially allowing AC Milan to go after their striker Didier Drogba.

Drogba who scored 15 goals for Chelsea is one of the 5 strikers Milan has stated interest in signing this summer. (the others being Adedbayor, Et'o, Shevchenko, and Berbatov).

There has been much talk of Drogba leaving Chelsea to go play with former coach Jose Mourinho at Inter Milan, but AC Milan likely has the better shot of signing him.

While the Drogba talk is good news for Milan fans, Chelsea also said there is no way they would be willing to sell back former Milan striker Andriy Shevchenko.

Could Shevchenko who has been sitting on the bench for most of his time in England, begin to get more playing time this upcoming season? We will see.

No doubt Drogba's leaving Chelsea before the next season. I don't think it can be Inter.
