FC Porto Kicked Out of the Champions League

Portuguese champion FC Porto has been kicked out of next years Champions League tournament.

Porto is accused of trying to bribe 2 officials during the 2003-2004 season, the season in which they won the Champions League tournament.

Porto is going to appeal the decision.

This has happened before. In 2006 AC Milan was kicked out of the CL due to the Italian corruption scandal, but Milan appealed and won, and wound up winning the entire CL.

I can't believe it! FC Porto better appeal. Automatically Benfica will go in its place? FC Porto, more than Benfica, deserve another shot at the Champions League. Plus, Mourinho at Inter facing FC Porto again- can't wait.
